The goal for Góði Hirðirinn's Wagtail website was to create a user-friendly, mobile-responsive online store with a simple purchase flow. The website was designed with a mobile-first approach, aligning with the Góði Hirðirinn brand and focusing on simplicity, joy, and user experience. The online store offers users an effortless purchase process for unique secondhand gems.
As a fast-paced online store where every product is unique, Góði Hirðirinn required a system that allows employees to quickly and efficiently add products with images and information. A customized Wagtail solution for ‘quick content insertion’ enables employees to use a smartphone to create product listings fast, snap product pictures, and either complete the product card on a smartphone or on a computer.
